Our story

Named after two women called Mary

Mary's Motors is named in memory of my mum and my nan, both called Mary. They taught us that you look after people properly, you say what things cost, and you turn up when you say you will. That's the whole business plan.

Questions we get asked

Do you hold a deposit on my credit card?

No. Our cover has no excess, so there's nothing to hold against. You pay the hire charge and that's it.

What do I need to bring to pick up the car?

Your driving licence, passport or ID card, and your booking reference. UK licence holders don't need an International Driving Permit for Spain.

Is there a mileage limit?

Every hire includes 200 Km/day. Anything beyond that is charged at 0.28 € / Km, and we'll always tell you before you set off.

Can I take the car outside Andalucía?

Yes, anywhere in mainland Spain. If you're planning to cross into Portugal or Gibraltar, tell us when you book so we can sort the paperwork.

How does the fuel policy work?

Full to full. The car comes with a full tank and you bring it back the same way, so there's no fuel admin fee to pay.

Do you rent for the whole winter?

We do, and it's what a lot of our customers come to us for. From day 29 the daily rate drops by 10%, so a winter stay works out well below the holiday price.

What if the flight is delayed?

Give us the flight number when you book. We track it and meet the plane that actually lands, with no late-arrival charge.
